Hello Makers! Kathleen here with another gorgeous collection of DIY beauties! Today we are going to take a look at cozy Sweaters! Sweaters are a seemingly daunting project to take on, but with the right inspiration and the right materials, you will be flying through and finishing your very own sweater in no time! Are you ready to cozy up and get your sweater on? Let's go!
I think I can speak for most of us when I say sweater weather is the best weather! Ok, I know that warm weather is amazing as well, but how can you resist cozying up in your favorite sweater, with a warm drink in hand while it is cold outside? Those days are my favorite, and the only thing that could make that any better would be if you made your own sweater! I have made a couple sweaters to date, and there is nothing better than slipping on your own creation and staying cozy on a cold day. If you have never made your own sweater but have always wanted to, why not start now? Treat yourself! Spend some time making something for yourself! Take a look at these two amazing knitting patterns from The Snugglery and Knitatude, along with two amazing crochet patterns from Sierra's Crochet Crafts, and Naturally Nora Crochet.
The Super Chunky Raglan
Who said that sweaters couldn't be sexy? Pattern designer Michelle of The Snugglery proves that sexy sweaters are totally in with her decorative lace detailing on the shoulders and the extra long body, making this the perfect sweater to wear with leggings and your favorite pair of boots. This intermediate sweater uses chunky yarn and large-sized needles, which allows you to work one up in no time at all - super perfect for those last minute invites for a night on the town! This pattern includes directions for sizes S/M/L.

With it's gorgeous stitching and looser fit, this is the perfect go-to sweater when you are on the run or for a special night out on the town. I am sure it will become one of the staples in your wardrobe, and will have your friends asking you to make them one as well! This pattern comes with the directions for three sizes (S/M/L).
