10 Planners and Journals For Makers

2023 is here and we are ready for it!

This is the best time to start thinking about not only our resolutions for the new year, but also all of the knits and pieces that we’re hoping to add to our handmade collections!

We are planner-obsessed over at Our Maker Life and we’ve come up with 10 different planners and journals (both physical and digital) that will help you get your making queue planned out ASAP.

Ivory Paper Co All-In-One Planner

This planner includes daily, weekly, and monthly spreads! This lets you plan your day with to-dos and schedule your week with your weekly layout. Each planner is made by hand in Ohio, and this company is both family and black-owned!

Celestial Weekly Planner from Passion Planner

Another BIPOC-owned company! For every planner sold, they donate funds and planners to nonprofit organizations who are doing great work in their communities, ranging from raising mental health awareness to providing education for underserved youth.

They also offer a free PDF version of the planner for anyone to print and use, regardless of their financial ability.

1Canoe2 Weekly Planner

This is the type of planner that’s perfect for makers who are aesthetically-inclined! This weekly planner has a variety of beautiful covers and simplified spreads.

The company even offers a Bullet Journaling Class for $39 if you’re wanting more resources.

Happiness Planner

This version of the Happiness Planner is going to focus on "Loving you", learning to let go of the past, healing your inner child, and learning to love and accept yourself unconditionally.

There are monthly and daily spreads, and plenty of space for goal-setting, though this is definitely designed to be more than just a planner.

Vogue Knitting Project Journal

Whatever your level and whatever your project, TheVogue Knitting Project Journal provides the professional guidance you need and the creative freedom you want. Casual knitters will find guided entries to help them record essential information, such as needle size, yarns, and more. There are pages to keep track of your yarn purchases and wish lists for everything knitting-related, pages for knitting books, fun podcasts and knitting events. Jot down your ideas for future projects in the “Ideas” section of the planner, and write down every detail when you cast on in the “Projects” pages.
