Yes, you should
come to OML.

Cozy moments on the couch are cool, but you can’t launch and do everything from your craft space.

You need support. Strategy. Fun. Encouragement.

We know that business strategy and social media management is a lot.

You need good vibes — and we’ve got vibes.

Our events are curated for fun + business with you in mind. The yarn enthusiast looking to share more, the designer with a great idea looking for a spark, the advanced knitter or crocheter ready to evolve and grow into more greatness.

Amy Small, Creative Director, Knit Collage

OML 2025 Event Keynote

Amy Small is the visionary founder and Creative Director behind Knit Collage, a brand beloved for its colorful, handspun yarns and joyful creative spirit. With a background in textile design, Amy got her start working with powerhouse brands like Anthropologie and Free People, where she honed her eye for texture, storytelling, and aesthetic design.

Fifteen years ago, she took a leap and launched Knit Collage and created a company from the ground up that now inspires thousands of makers globally. What began with hand spinning yarns in India has grown into a vibrant fiber brand known for its bold colorways, whimsical textures, and empowering knit-alongs that help creatives of all levels feel confident and connected. As a business owner, podcast host, and community builder, Amy is deeply passionate about helping others unlock their creative freedom to find business joy in the process and beyond the finished product.

At OML 2025, Amy will share the behind-the-scenes of her journey and offer business insight: from working in fashion to starting her own brand, navigating growth as a creative entrepreneur, and the mindset shifts that helped her turn Knit Collage into a movement.

We see you designing and wanting more

Our community and industry deserves more for designers. Many of us are overwhelmed. We’re seeking community, collaboration, and more industry access. We want to stop online scrolling and posting for a day to get into real talk with fellow designers who know business. We’re seeking engaged conversations with peers and thought leaders who’ve leaped over the struggles and around a saturated market amid big social. We want knitting and crochet to meet our passion + profit.

WE SEE YOU. AT OML WE’LL:

  • Look into your business. We’ll rise & shine over a sit-down breakfast and identify the core of running a knit/crochet fiber business (challenges, photography, branding and marketing, product strategy, launch, and finances) Together, we’ll discover your business design strengths, growth opportunities, and financial confidence.

  • Elevate your business. After lunch, we’ll glow up and apply how we actively approach working in the fiber industry. You’ll walk away with elevated knowledge and ways to win and work your business. The afternoon is all about identifying strengths, getting peer and leadership feedback, and starting the Fall season with a focused plan (plus a fun knit-along!), so when you head back to your couch cozy spot, you’ll be ready to knit and crochet with clarity and purpose.

In their words

Lindsey A. | OML Attendee

Before I found OML, I didn’t see myself as a business owner. I was just making for fun — unsure where to go or who to connect with. Every time I’ve attended, I’ve left feeling energized, inspired, and ready to create. OML gave me the confidence to learn new skills, put myself out there, and start building a real foundation for my maker business.
